Black Box Server Mod Cool-Looking, but a Serious Health Hazard
Modder Brett found himself a Flight Recorder on eBay and decided it would make an extremely cool Linux server. He gutted it, cleaned out all of the nasty, hazardous materials inside and installed a Mini-ITX with an 800MHz Via C3 CPU. It looks cool, but you can’t put a price on health. I’m not sure why nobody ever thought of this before, but I think it’s a cool idea. This clever casemod took the shell from an old flight data recorder (a.k.a. “Black Boxâ€) and transformed it into a Linux server.
